Solliance Solar Research Names New Director

Ronn Andriessen on April 1, 2018, became interim director of Solliance – taking over the role from Huib van den Heuvel.
 
Andriessen served as program manager of the Perovskite Shared Research Program.
 
He’s also been assigned as technical director and will oversee all Solliance programs and projects.
 
ECN on April 1, joined TNO as the “Energy Research Center of the Netherlands, part of TNO.”
 
van den Heuvel will focus his attention on the launch of the first Solliance spin-off called Solarge, which will develop and manufacturing composite solar building components – a new breed of BIPV products. Solarge is currently in the phase of securing its first investment round. When Solarge is fully established, van den Heuvel will make the full transfer to the new company.
